Late Applications

Missing Financial Aid Deadlines can cause you to miss out on grants and scholarships.

February 1, 2010 (for 2010-11) priority filing date for financial aid.  Students must be admitted and have the official results of the FAFSA to the financial aid office.  Students meeting this requirement must also submit all documents for verification before April 1, 2010 (for 2010-11) to be considered on time.

Read all correspondence (either paper or electronic) from the Financial Aid Office carefully and immediately

Turn in all required documents before the deadline.

Use the Student Information System (MY RU) to confirm that all documents were received and that nothing additional is needed.

Continue to follow the review of your Financial Aid file using the Student Information System (MY RU)

BE ON TIME, ACCURATE, AND THOROUGH WHEN COMPLETING FINANCIAL AID APPLICATIONS.
