Withdrawing from the University or a Class

Sometimes students find it necessary to withdraw from a class or classes at RU.  To insure that no grades are given for the class or classes for which the student is enrolled, he/she must make sure that they follow the procedures to withdraw from the University or a class or classes .  Students returning to RU after withdrawing from all classes must apply for readmission in the Registrar's Office.

Students withdrawing from all classes or below half-time and whose financial aid has not been confirmed will be responsible for all charges still owed to Student Accounts.  Financial Aid may not be disbursed if the student is no longer enrolled.  Check with the Financial Aid Office before withdrawing from all classes or below half time.

During specific time periods, there may be a refund of all or part of tuition and fees or room and board that the student paid.
